Do you want to become a First Aid Instructor?
If you are interest in becoming a First Aid Instructor and take-up full time or part-time training, there are different career pathways:
1 – Emergency First Response Instructor (EFRI)
If you are interested in becoming a First Aid Instructor, we will be able to help you become an Emergency First Response Instructor. This is an Internationally recognized rating and can be upgraded for use in Australia.
Delivery of internationally recognised first aid training:
The internationally recognised Emergency First Response Instructor (TM) through PADI will enable you to teach First Aid in many countries around the world. The EFR Instructor is a requirement to become a recognised PADI Dive Instructor.
– First Aid Instructor (International only) $695 EFRI (excluding application fee)
– PADI Oxygen provider Instructor $200
(The EFR Instructor does qualify you to teach as a PADI dive instructor, it does not qualify for Australian training delivery of nationally accredited training without an upgrade.)
2 – Delivery of nationally accredited training in Australia:
The Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015 govern the delivery of nationally accredited training and assessment in Australia. Under these Standards, trainer and assessors are required to hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV in training and assessment or higher qualification (or TAE40110 prior to 31 March 2019) and hold the vocational competencies and industry currency for the training and assessment they deliver.
We can guide you to become an experienced trainer or you could even become a Partner trainer where you run your Business and we take care of the Training side of things.
