
First Aid Academy is proud to have been granted Registered Training Supplier Status for CSQ funding for 22/23.
Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) is an independent industry-funded body supporting eligible employers, workers, apprentices and career seekers to gain or update the skills for working in the building and construction industry.
Under CSQ funding, CSQ will contribute towards the total cost of training. This is available for eligible participants undertaking the following units of competency with First Aid Academy:

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CSQ FUNDING YOU MUST:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen; permanent resident of Australia; or a visa holder with relevant permission to work; and
- Permanently work in Queensland in the Building and Construction Industry as an Eligible Worker or an Unemployed Eligible Worker (see application form below for further details).
AND MUST NOT:
- Be an employee of an Authority (employees of Local Councils are acceptable); or
- Currently enrolled and participating in a school program; or
- Contracted as a trainer and assessor or and existing worker of an RTO; or
- Already funded by an Authority or other such source for delivery of the same training being undertaken as part of the relevant program; or
- Participant seeking a verification of competency.
The CSQ Funding application process does take a bit of time, so if you are in a hurry… You can apply for funding, pay for the training and if it gets granted we will refund the CSQ funded portion after your training has been completed. We will not issue a Statement of attainment with out any form of payment. Before you disappear off grid make sure we have all your details. For us to apply with and to issue the refund to you.
